From 6 December 2025 to 18 January 2026, the Kunsthaus Hamburg will present the final exhibition of the working scholarship for visual arts. Under the programmatic title “Future Continuous”, works by ten award winners will be shown, including Francesca Bertin, Maxime Chabal, Wassili Franko, Katharina Kohl, Lila-Zoé Krauß, Nina Kuttler, Ruxin Liu, Katja Pilipenko, Sohorab Rabbey and Kristina Savutsina. The new works created during the scholarship in dialogue with the Kunsthaus Hamburg reflect the complexity and dynamism of local art production on the one hand, while at the same time opening up a view of current developments and promising trends.
The format sees itself as a driving force for artistic innovation and as a stage for dialogue between artists, curators, authorsand the public. For over four decades, the Hamburg Ministry of Culture and Media has supported ten selected female artists each year with the working grant, thus providing lasting impetus for the art scene in the Hanseatic city. In 2025, the focus will once again be on creating new spaces of opportunity and strengthening creativity beyond the city limits. The exhibition is traditionally accompanied by a publication that documents the current positions and significantly expands the visibility of Hamburg art.
