Ex­pe­ri­ence sci­ence — re­se­arch yes­ter­day, to­day and to­mor­row in Bre­men

The new an­nu­al ex­hi­bi­ti­on “Re­se­arch Yes­ter­day, To­day, To­mor­row — In­sights in­to Sci­ence in the Sta­te of Bre­men” opens its doors at the “Haus der Wis­sen­schaft Bre­men” and in­vi­tes vi­si­tors to dis­co­ver and mar­vel. From 4 No­vem­ber 2025 to 21 Fe­bru­ary 2026, vi­si­tors can ex­pe­ri­ence how di­ver­se, crea­ti­ve and fu­ture-ori­en­ted Bre­men’s re­se­arch land­scape is — from ma­ri­ne and so­cial sci­en­ces to ro­bo­tics, avia­ti­on and me­di­cal re­se­arch. The oc­ca­si­on is the 20th an­ni­ver­sa­ry of Bre­men’s de­si­gna­ti­on as the first “Ci­ty of Sci­ence” and of the cent­re its­elf, which has sin­ce ac­ted as a bridge bet­ween sci­ence, so­cie­ty, schools, art and busi­ness.

The ex­hi­bi­ti­on of­fers ex­tra­or­di­na­ry in­sights in­to the re­se­arch work of Bre­men’s in­sti­tu­tes and al­so pres­ents an ac­com­pany­ing pic­tu­re ex­hi­bi­ti­on wi­th im­pres­si­ons from the re­se­arch of yes­ter­day, to­day and to­mor­row. The sup­port­ing in­sti­tu­ti­ons of the House of Sci­ence pre­sent in­no­va­ti­ve pro­jects that make the pul­se of sci­ence tan­gi­ble and un­der­line the im­portance of Bre­men as a cent­re of sci­ence.
