With the exhibition “Love You For Infinity” from September 2025 to February 2026, the Sprengel Museum Hannover is pulling off an extraordinary art coup: for the first time, works by Niki de Saint Phalle, Yayoi Kusama and Takashi Murakami will be presented in a joint dialogue. The occasion is the generous donation of over 400 works by Niki de Saint Phalle, which lays the foundation for an artistic bridge — from her powerful “Nanas” and expressive shooting pictures to Kusama’s immersive “Infinity Rooms” and Murakami’s trendy wallpaper.
On more than 2,000 square metres of exhibition space, a colourful, energetic world unfolds in which painting, sculpture, installations and film form new connections. The exhibition addresses both joie de vivre and existential threats, explores feminist and social issues and reflects the tension between consumption, trauma and creative self-assertion. In this way, “Love You For Infinity” impressively shows how art, pop culture and commerce merge — each work characterised by an unmistakable signature and an inspiring view of the infinity of life.
