(Name of the exhibition in the original language)

The art exposure in the Phaeno merge art, science and technology in a fascinating way. A highlight is the “Sisyphus” sculpture by Bruce Shapiro, in which two metal balls pull endless patterns in the sand. This installation symbolizes the cyclical nature of life and stimulates thinking about the meaning and incompleteness of human efforts. Other remarkable works such as “Machine and Concrete” play with the limits of movement and mechanics by making the invisible visible to us — the movement of gears that continues without any recognizable change. These works of art invite visitors to think about the combination of technology, aesthetics and philosophy and to discover the creative power of science.
